Blue Indigo Yoga Cottage – Founder.

Blessed one. We hope you truly enjoy yoga and teaching/learning yoga,  that you are passionate, kind, balanced, and with good communication skills.

Tons of details below for your information, but if you feel you have what it takes, apply below and see you soon!

Volunteers and Teachers get the same benefits (see below), with exception of a monthly pay for teachers.

The differences between a teacher and a volunteer are explained here and detailed further down:

  • certifications: teachers and volunteers are both certified, but teachers have completed advanced certifications
  • experience: teachers have successfully taught in professional yoga studios/retreats/ashrams and are able to provide references
  • depth of knowledge: teachers are expert in on or more fields (flying yoga, vinyassa,…) but have practiced and can teach most common yoga branches/variations to beginners
  • reputation: teachers have built-up a reputation in the community thanks to their values, integrity, passion and skills
  • TTC and retreats: experienced teachers can teach TTCs, organize and run workshops
  • Teachers are expected to provide some inspiration, leadership, coordination to the volunteers

Volunteering is the best path towards becoming a professional Yoga instructor,  learning along with seasoned teachers in an environment dedicated to Yoga.

Our focus remains to provide the best possible experience to our customers, and you, as a teacher or volunteer, are integral part of providing that experience.

As a customer, you would understand that we look for volunteers and teachers who demonstrate the qualities, behavior and talent to best teach you Yoga in all its subtleties.

Coaches and retreat organizers: please see our section for coaches.
