Anna Ryczek at Blue Indigo
Anna is now teaching in Ireland ; on behalf of Blue Indigo guests and staff, a big THANK YOU! You not only taught us, you inspired us!
Anna Ryczek is a qualified Vinyasa yoga, aerial yoga and Pilates instructor. She holds a master’s degree in Psychology.
As far as she can remember Anna has always been interested in the search for the meaning. For that
reason she studied psychology, traveled through Asia, practiced vipassana (silent meditation
retreats) and did a one year long Gestalt therapy course.
Her search led to discovery of yoga, the path of wisdom connecting mind, body and breath (spirit). She completed a yoga teacher training (200 hrs RYT) with the Yoga Shala in Galway in 2012 and has been teaching since then. Her teacher training was run in conjunction with the Yoga Synergy principles, a physiotherapy based yoga style created by an internationally renowned teacher Simon Borg- Olivier from Australia.
She became a pilates instructor in 2013. Year later Anna discovered aerial yoga (flying yoga) and become totally fascinated by its both therapeutic effects and child-like playfulness. In 2015 she participated in a EU project for seniors called Active I and joined a team of trainers who offered holistic courses on healthy living including physical activity, nutrition and mindfulness. To complement her yoga teaching she became a yin yoga instructor and a laughter yoga leader. She is very committed to her students, guiding them towards their own inner stillness, strength and flexibility. She feels a strong connection with nature and when she is free she likes to ramble barefoot on sandy beaches. She loves swimming, traveling and listening to the sound of silence.
